Hookup the TxD and RxD wires as shown in the schematic. In the first order I made I got a cable with an ArkMicro chip inside and a 6-wire cable and in the second order I got 4 cables with a Prolific Ussb chip and a 3-wire cable. In reality, when I look at the bottom of the board it does not appear as such.
After a Google search about “Nokia driver update”, I ended up onto a site offering a download of an updated version of Nokia PC Suite 5. However, it is possible to get power from these cables too, but bigger modifications have to be made.
I did a quick probe to confirms this, then attempted to solder the green wire to the via. The cable has a label on the USB. Wear an anti-static wrist strap. Attach the red cable to the pin 6 wire TxD.
Attach the black cable to the wire which corresponds pin 8 GND. The voltages are different and the logic is inverted. After you connect the cable to the Arduino you no longer need to use Hyperterminal.

Take another look at the schematic. The difference is that with tp cable with the ArkMicro chip you can power the the device that you connect the cable to with 3. You should double check your work because the wires are very thin and the pins are small and close together.

After seril, you may close the USB housing again using some hot glue. In my case my RXD line had less than a volt going to the multimeter or a bad connection.
Most of the cable should remain attached to the USB connector, but you need to leave enough cable attached to the phone connector to be able to strip the wires and attach an alligator clip or a terminal block if you like. If you try to exceed mA, bad things can happen. This connectivity cable lets you charge your phone while transferring data to or from your PC. Now, test the connectivity with a multimeter on those pins and find out which cable goes to what pin.
