Driver is not intended for this platform. It shows as unknown device and when Windows attempts to install the driver through device manager, it correctly identifies the Genesys Driver but fails on install by saying it is not meant for my device. Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. Sign In Sign Up. On my GJT this does not work either and I tried those fix drivers and still nothing. I think I got a solution After the reboot from installing them his suggestion of changing drivers for the card reader to a mass storage device.

For the Genesys drivers use the option to search on the PC. Also, disconnect from the net and reboot before you install the new driver. Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. I still have to use the old touch pad driver for mine to work correctly.

Please let us know how it works out for you. I am having a different problem. I had three choices; the previous driver version which it was the system was usingthe new version which the system said was the wrong version and resulted in a device error and the generic mass storage driver.
